Hi Liz
Thanks for the reminder about sharpening the axe. Such an important thing to do and yet so easy to neglect and then waste time dithering around and not acheiving goals. Needed that bit of motivation. Off to get FOCUS! regards, Joey

LOVE it Liz! The thing is that I do focus on the dream and what I love, but earning a living in the mean time is much more difficult. It means that some time and effort is going to things that do not have long term interest for me... c'est la vie - all in good time!

Hi Liz,
Great article to reminding us to stay focused in preparing for our goals and dreams. The famous maxim by Benjamin Franklin that " failing to prepare is preparing to fail" is often quoted by us all. However,I find that it takes great skill to not let distractions stop my preparation. I hold onto many maxims by Coach John Wooden, who is known for his principles in good living and reaching success. One " Woodenism" I value in this area is " Never mistake activity for achievement".

Thanks for this great summary, it was really helpful and is building upon a lot of my own current reading. It is always helpful to see the work you are doing to develop others. It is appreciated.
